At Didcot Auto Repair, we aim to provide a flexible and fair booking system for all customers. Please read our policy below before making a booking.
1. Booking Appointments
1.1 Appointments can be made by phone, email, or in person.
1.2 Please provide accurate contact details and vehicle information when booking.
1.3 Bookings are confirmed once we provide written or verbal confirmation.
2. Deposits
2.1 For certain services (e.g., major repairs, special-order parts), we may require a deposit.
2.2 Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or fail to attend.
2.3 Deposits will be deducted from the final invoice when work is completed.
3. Cancellations
3.1 If you wish to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice.
3.2 Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in:
- A cancellation fee, or
- Retention of any deposit paid
3.3 Failure to attend without notice (“no-shows”) may require full payment for the missed booking before future appointments are accepted.
4. Rescheduling
4.1 We will do our best to reschedule your appointment at a convenient time.
4.2 If parts have already been ordered specifically for your vehicle, you may still be charged for them if they cannot be returned.
5. Our Right to Cancel
5.1 We may cancel or reschedule bookings due to:
- Staff illness or unavailability
- Delays in part supply
- Safety concerns or unforeseen circumstances
5.2 If we cancel, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a new appointment.
